Britney Jean Spears

Britney Jean Spears was conceived in McComb, Mississippi, and raised in Kentwood. Britney had dance lessons in her youth and was a great gymnast, winning many competitions. Britney was a superb performer and dancer. Britney was just 8 years old when she attempted to be a part of The All New Mickey Mouse Club (1989) However, her young age led to her being denied. The show then redirected her to an off-Broadway musical, "Ruthless", for 2 years as the main character. She attempted to reprise her role in The All New Mickey Mouse Club (1989), this time as a mouseketeer. However, her most notable break came in the late 1990s when she signed a contract as a Jive Recording Artist. The debut album of Britney Spears, "...Baby, was released in 1999. Britney also sold 9 million copies (as as of July 2001) of her second album "Oops !...I Do It Again" that was released in May 2000. Britney was born to Lynne Spears (and Jamie Spears) and has a bigger sister named Jamie Lynn Spears. At a very young age, Britney was always fixing to be a star with her idols including Madonna, Mariah Carey and Whitney Houston, the young Britney could be heard singing, no matter the other events going on in the world around her. After having a lot of vocal and dance classes, and appearing in various talent shows and fairs, Britney was a candidate for The All New Mickey Mouse Club (1989) TV show between 1989 and 1994 when she was just aged eight, but was too young to be able to audition for the role. Britney along with her little sister, Britney, moved to New York, where she was featured in numerous TV commercials as well as an off Broadway production called "Ruthless" with the guidance by Natalie Portman. She fell in love with dancing and music two years later, when she was auditioning again for "Mickey Mouse", winning the part with Justin Timberlake and Christina Aguilera.
