Bruce Willis

Bruce Willis, an actor and musician is well-known for playing hard-edged characters or wisecracking characters in action films. Together, they've appeared in movies that have grossed more than $2.5 billion USD. Walter Bruce Willis was born on the 19th of March, 1955 in the city of Idar-Oberstein (West Germany) to Marlene Kassel and David Andrew Willis (from Carneys Point New Jersey), both of whom were living on the United States military base. His family moved to U.S. soon after he was born. Willis was born in Penns Grove by his mother, who worked at an institution, and his father, a welding, was a factory worker and welder. Willis picked up an interest in drama during high school, and was "discovered" whilst working in a café in New York City and then was featured in several off-Broadway productions. A night, he was serving drinks and was noticed by a casting director who liked his style of work. He was looking for a bartender to play an unimportant role in a film. Willis was involved in countless auditions before finding the role in the cult romantic comedy, Moonlighting (1985), as David Addison. His humorous and wisecracking P.I. His humorous and wisecracking P.I. is often seen as a pre-test for his role as John McClane, the hardboiled NYC detective in Die Hard (1988), that saw Willis confront a band of vicious international thieves in a Los Angeles skyscraper. In the sequel, Die Hard 2 (1990), Willis reprised his role in the role of McClane. The plot set in Washington's Dulles International Airport where a group of rebellious Special Forces soldiers are trying to bring back the corrupt South American general. The film's excellent box office results prompted another sequel to Die Hart with bloodshed (1995). This time, Samuel L. Jackson starred as a cynical Harlem shopkeeper who was not aware of the fact that he was required to help McClane during a terrorist attack on a scorching New York City day.
