Marcia Harvey

Marcia Harvey is an African-American writer, best known for being the ex-wife of comedic legend and TV host, Steve Harvey. She decided to keep her personal life secretive and away from the media. While Steve was not even as far as the fame which he is enjoying now the couple was married for 14 years. The actual reasons for the couple's breakup were not known and rumors of their split have always been heard throughout Hollywood. Some have attributed it to Steve Harvey's habit of cheating as well as others to his decision to choose the path of a different kind, like comedy. Her tragic and tragic life is linked to Steve's neglect of her as well as her two daughters as she was pregnant with her third baby. Despite all the struggles she's managed to build an impressive name for herself in fashion design as well as writing. She is the writer of 'Marcia's Eyes To The Soul, 'Marcia's Poems From The Heart, and Marcia's Thoughts From the Mind. The generosity of her character has been a source of inspiration to her children. It isn't much known about Marcia Harvey's early life except the fact that she came from an African-American household and that they were not wealthy. Her first job was working at Saks Fifth Avenue, a department store. Steve was introduced to her by a friend at their wedding reception. They became inseparable, and they got married in 1980. Steve was working as an insurance salesman at that moment and the couple was blessed with twin girls in 1982. Steve was unhappy with his job and wanted to be an entertainer, specifically stand-up comedy. Steve and Marcia could not get together, and reports indicated that they had been living in a relationship since 1990. Marcia Harvey's fame stemmed in large part from her marriage to Steve Harvey, and their divorce. While the circumstances that led to their divorce in 1994 were largely kept a secret but there is no doubt that Marcia was pregnant with their third child at the time everything went downhill. Marcia filed for divorce in 1993. Marcia had to go to the court after her divorce and Steve Harvey's refusing of the child support and alimony payment.
