Tramar Lacel Dillard also known
professionally as Flo Rida, is an American artist, rapper writer, songwriter
and composer who hails from Carol City, Florida. The breakout hit single from
2008 "Low" was the number one hit for 10 weeks in the United States and
broke the record for sales of digital downloads at the time of its release. The
debut album of Flo Rida in 2008's Mail on Sunday reached number four in the
United States. R.O.O.T.S. followed the album in the US. The albums that
followed were the 2010's Only One Flo Part 1 and 2012's Wild Ones charted on US
Billboard 200 charts. Flo Rida's sales worldwide of over 80 million albums make
him one of the most popular music artists. His catalog includes international
hits such as "Right Round", Club Can't Handle Me", and
"Good Feeling". " as well as "My House". Mail on
Sunday was Flo Rida's debut album. It was released in March of 2008. The track
"Low" featuring T-Pain was the album's first single. It also appeared
on the soundtrack for Step Up 2: The Streets. "Low" was ranked No. 1.
on the Billboard Hot 100 Chart. "Elevator", featuring Timbaland and
"In the Ayer," featuring will.i.am Then came "Roll"
featuring Sean Kingston. Both charted on the Hot 100 as well. Alongside T-Pain
There were a variety of featured guests throughout Mail on Sunday. Timbaland is
the producer of the second single "Elevator", also features on the
track. Rick Ross and Trey Songz were also featured on the track. Lil Wayne
appeared on the track "American Superstar" as well as Sean Kingston
appeared on the J. R. Rotem-produced "Roll" that was written by
Compton rapper Spitfiya. Birdman, Brisco and Yung Joc are also guest
performers. "Money Right", featuring Brisco and Rick Ross, was
scheduled to be the fourth single but it was cancelled due to the forthcoming
launch of Flo Rida's second studio album, R.O.O.T.S. The second song he
recorded with T-Painwas "I Bet", as well as his collaboration with
Trina known as "Bout It" The two tracks didn't figure in the final
track list, but were recorded.
